Preschool

Our onsite Preschool is set amongst beautiful lush grounds with swings, bike track, sandpit, climbing equipment and access to the schools’ facilities. It has the capacity to cater to 22 students and is guided by a teacher and student support officers. The preschool operates Monday and Tuesday from 9am- 3pm during even school weeks and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on odd school weeks.

The Preschool uses a play-based approach in conjunction with Early Years Learning Framework which encourages children’s holistic development through their own curiosity. Using their bodies and minds, children learn through hands-on investigation. The learning environment is tailored to each child and is directed or supported by a teacher. Children are extended and challenged using their interests for planning experiences.

The preschool and school work closely together through a buddy program to allow preschool students to become familiar with the older students, staff and surroundings making the transition from preschool to school smooth.
